Connecting Platforms
This guide walks you through connecting your social media accounts to the platform. Each connection uses OAuth for secure authentication.
Before You Begin
Requirements
- An active account on the platform you want to connect
- Admin access (for business pages/accounts)
- Pop-ups enabled in your browser
- A business or creator account (recommended)

Accessing Integrations
- Click Integrations in the main navigation
- View the platform grid showing all available platforms
- Each card shows connection status
General Connection Process
The process is similar for all platforms:
- Find the platform - Locate the card for the platform you want
- Click Connect - Opens the OAuth popup
- Log in - Enter your platform credentials (in the popup)
- Authorize - Grant permissions to our app
- Complete - Connection is established
Step-by-Step
Step 1: Click Connect
On the platform card, click the Connect button. A popup window opens.
If no popup appears, check your browser's pop-up blocker. Allow pop-ups from this site.
Step 2: Log In
In the popup, log in to your platform account:
- Enter your username/email
- Enter your password
- Complete any two-factor authentication
Step 3: Authorize
Review the permissions requested:
- Read profile information
- Post content on your behalf
- Access basic analytics
Click Authorize or Allow to proceed.
Step 4: Select Account (if applicable)
If you have multiple pages or accounts:
- View the list of available accounts
- Select the account(s) you want to connect
- Confirm your selection
Step 5: Connection Complete
The popup closes and you return to the Integrations page:
- Green checkmark appears on the platform card
- Account name is displayed
- Connection is ready to use
Platform-Specific Instructions
Facebook
- Click Connect on the Facebook card
- Log in to Facebook (if not already logged in)
- Review permissions and click Continue
- Select which Facebook Pages to connect
- Click Done to complete
Requirements:
- You must be an admin of the Facebook Page
- Personal profiles cannot be connected (Pages only)
- Business verification is recommended
Troubleshooting:
- "No pages available" - Create a Facebook Page first
- "Insufficient permissions" - Ask page owner to add you as admin
Instagram
- Click Connect on the Instagram card
- You'll be redirected through Facebook (Instagram uses Facebook Login)
- Log in to Facebook
- Select the Instagram Business account to connect
- Confirm permissions
Requirements:
- Instagram account must be Business or Creator type
- Account must be linked to a Facebook Page
- Switch from Personal to Business account if needed
Troubleshooting:
- "Account not found" - Switch to Business account in Instagram settings
- "Page connection required" - Link Instagram to a Facebook Page
Twitter/X
- Click Connect on the Twitter/X card
- Log in to Twitter/X
- Review permissions
- Click Authorize app
Requirements:
- Standard Twitter/X account
- No special account type needed
Troubleshooting:
- "Rate limit exceeded" - Wait an hour and try again
- "App suspended" - Contact support
TikTok
- Click Connect on the TikTok card
- Log in to TikTok
- Review permissions
- Confirm authorization
Requirements:
- TikTok Business account
- Business verification completed
Troubleshooting:
- "Account not eligible" - Switch to Business account
- "Region not supported" - TikTok API availability varies by region
LinkedIn
- Click Connect on the LinkedIn card
- Log in to LinkedIn
- Choose what to connect:
- Personal profile
- Company Page (if admin)
- Review permissions and authorize
Requirements:
- Admin access for Company Pages
- Active LinkedIn account
Troubleshooting:
- "Page not found" - Verify admin status on Company Page
- "Permissions denied" - Request admin access from page owner
Threads
- Click Connect on the Threads card
- Log in through Instagram
- Authorize the connection
- Threads account is linked
Requirements:
- Active Threads profile
- Instagram account connected
Troubleshooting:
- "No Threads profile" - Create Threads profile first via the app
- "Instagram not connected" - Connect Instagram first
After Connecting
Verify Connection
After connecting:
- Check for the green checkmark
- View the connected account name
- Optionally set as Main account
Test the Connection
- Create a test campaign
- Select only the new platform
- Publish a test post
- Verify it appears on the platform
Set as Main Account
If this should be your primary account:
- Click the account details on the platform card
- Click Set as Main
- Star icon appears indicating main status
Connection Security
What We Store
- OAuth access token (encrypted)
- Token refresh credentials (encrypted)
- Basic profile information
- Account/page identifiers
What We Don't Store
- Your platform password
- Private messages
- Personal account settings
- Financial information
Revoking Access
You can disconnect at any time:
- On the platform card, click Disconnect
- Confirm the action
- Our access is immediately revoked
You can also revoke access from the platform itself:
- Facebook: Settings → Apps and Websites
- Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites
- Twitter: Settings → Security → Apps
- LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Third-party apps
Troubleshooting
Pop-up Blocked
Problem: No popup window appears
Solution:
- Check browser address bar for blocked popup indicator
- Allow popups from this site
- Try again
Connection Timeout
Problem: Popup opens but times out
Solution:
- Close the popup
- Refresh the page
- Try connecting again
- Use a different browser if persists
Permission Denied
Problem: Platform shows permission error
Solution:
- Verify you're logged into the correct account
- Check you have admin access (for Pages)
- Review which permissions are requested
- Contact page owner if you need higher access
Already Connected Error
Problem: Platform says app is already connected
Solution:
- The account may be connected in another workspace
- Disconnect from other workspace first
- Or connect a different account
Invalid Token
Problem: Connection shows as invalid
Solution:
- Click Reconnect
- Go through OAuth flow again
- Check if platform password changed
- Ensure two-factor auth is complete
