Campaigns Overview

Campaigns are the core organizational unit for your marketing efforts. Each campaign represents a coordinated set of content and activities aimed at achieving a specific goal.

What is a Campaign?

A campaign is a container for:

  • Goal - What you want to achieve (leads, awareness, sales, etc.)
  • Target Audience - Who you're trying to reach
  • Platforms - Where content will be published
  • Content - Posts, images, and media created for the campaign
  • Schedule - When content will be published
  • Brand Guidelines - Rules for tone and visual style

Organizing Campaigns

Best Practices

  1. Use descriptive names - "Summer Sale 2024 - Facebook" is better than "Campaign 1"
  2. Set clear goals - Choose the goal that matches your business objective
  3. Define time boundaries - Use start/end dates to scope the campaign
  4. Group by initiative - Create separate campaigns for distinct marketing initiatives

Campaign vs. Posts

Think of it this way:

  • Campaign = The overall marketing effort (e.g., "Product Launch")
  • Posts = Individual pieces of content within the campaign

One campaign can contain many posts across multiple platforms.
