Content Status Guide

Draft

Post is created but not scheduled:

  • Not in the publishing queue
  • Can be freely edited
  • Won't publish until scheduled

Scheduled

Post is queued for publishing:

  • Has a set publish time
  • Will auto-publish at that time
  • Can still be edited or cancelled

Published

Post has been successfully published:

  • Live on the platform
  • Engagement can be tracked
  • Cannot be modified (platform-side)

Failed

Publishing attempt failed:

  • Check error message for details
  • Can retry publishing
  • May need to edit content first

Troubleshooting

Post Won't Publish

Check these common issues:

  1. Platform disconnected - Reconnect in Integrations
  2. Content violates policy - Edit to comply with platform rules
  3. Rate limit hit - Wait and retry later
  4. Media too large - Compress or resize media

Media Not Displaying

  • Verify file format is supported
  • Check file size limits
  • Ensure media uploaded successfully

Scheduled Time Passed

If a scheduled time passes without publishing:

  • Check campaign status (must be Running)
  • Verify platform connection
  • Review Activity log for errors

Best Practices

  1. Review before publishing - Always check content before it goes live
  2. Check all platforms - Verify content looks good on each platform
  3. Mind character limits - Ensure content fits platform requirements
  4. Preview media - Make sure images/videos display correctly
  5. Space out posts - Avoid publishing too many posts at once
