Profile Settings

Manage your personal account settings, including your profile information, avatar, password, and preferences.

Accessing Profile Settings

  1. Click your avatar or name in the header
  2. Select Profile from the dropdown
  3. Profile settings page opens

Or:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Profile card

Profile Information

Basic Details

Update your personal information:

Editing Information

  1. Click on any editable field
  2. Enter new value
  3. Click Save Changes
  4. Confirmation message appears

Email changes require verification and may need admin approval. Contact support to change your email.

Avatar Management

Current Avatar

Your avatar appears:

  • In the header
  • On profile page
  • In activity logs
  • In team views

Uploading a New Avatar

  1. Click your current avatar or Change Avatar
  2. Select an image file
  3. Crop or adjust if needed
  4. Click Save

Image Requirements

Removing Avatar

  1. Click Remove Avatar
  2. Confirm the action
  3. Default avatar is shown

Default avatars display your initials on a colored background.

Password Management

Changing Password

To update your password:

  1. Click Change Password
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter your new password
  4. Confirm the new password
  5. Click Update Password

Password Best Practices

  • Use a unique password
  • Don't share your password
  • Use a password manager
  • Enable two-factor auth (if available)

Forgot Password

If you can't remember your password:

  1. Log out
  2. Click Forgot Password on login page
  3. Enter your email
  4. Follow the reset link sent to email

Preferences

Language

Select your preferred language:

  1. Find Language setting
  2. Select from available options
  3. Interface updates to selected language

Available languages depend on platform localization.

Notifications

Configure email notifications:

Managing Notifications

  1. Toggle each notification type
  2. Changes save automatically
  3. Confirmation message appears

Account Security

Session Management

View and manage active sessions:

  • See devices currently logged in
  • View last activity time
  • Sign out from specific devices

Security Recommendations

  1. Strong password - Use complex, unique password
  2. Regular updates - Change password periodically
  3. Session awareness - Monitor active sessions
  4. Secure access - Use trusted devices and networks

Account Deletion

Danger Zone

At the bottom of profile settings:

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Deletion Process

  1. Scroll to Danger Zone
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Enter your password to confirm
  4. Read the warning carefully
  5. Type confirmation text
  6. Click Delete Permanently

What Gets Deleted

  • Your profile information
  • Your preferences
  • Your session data
  • Access to all workspaces

What's Preserved

  • Workspace data you created
  • Campaigns and content
  • Activity history (anonymized)

Before Deleting

Consider:

  • Transfer ownership of important items
  • Export any needed data
  • Notify workspace admins
  • Cancel any active subscriptions

Troubleshooting

Can't Update Profile

  1. Check required fields are filled
  2. Verify username is unique
  3. Ensure no invalid characters
  4. Try refreshing the page

Avatar Won't Upload

  1. Check file format (JPG, PNG, GIF)
  2. Verify file size under 5 MB
  3. Try a different image
  4. Clear browser cache

Password Change Fails

  1. Verify current password is correct
  2. Ensure new password meets requirements
  3. Check passwords match exactly
  4. Try copying/pasting carefully

Notifications Not Received

  1. Check spam/junk folder
  2. Verify email address is correct
  3. Check notification settings are enabled
  4. Add sender to contacts/safe list
