The direction is clear: AI workloads are becoming auditable assets, not just “applications.”

- Which agents are deployed, where, and by whom?
- What tools can each agent call?
- What data sources are connected?
- What safety filters are enforced on prompts/responses?

Compute Engine adds future reservation requests in calendar mode (GA) for GPUs/TPUs/H4D resources. This matters because capacity uncertainty causes risky behavior:

- More stable telemetry patterns (important for anomaly detection)
GKE Inference Gateway GA: performance features with security implications
GKE Inference Gateway introduces:
