- average handle time and transfer rate
- required systems to resolve
- policy complexity (simple rules vs heavy judgment)
- failure reasons in current bot flows
Output: a ranked backlog of automation candidates with expected savings.
Step 2: Build for resolution, not containment
Containment is a result. Resolution is the goal.
Design each AI flow around:
- authentication path
- tool calls and data validation
- exception handling (what happens when data is missing?)
- clear customer confirmations
