The institutions that win trust explain safety features in plain language and at the right moment. Not in a 40-page security PDF.

Put the message in-product, not in a press release

Customers need reassurance when they’re making a payment or responding to outreach. Useful in-app copy is:

  • Specific (“We’ve noticed this payee is new and the amount is unusual.”)
  • Actionable (“Call us using the number on the back of your card.”)
  • Calm (“This happens to many people. Let’s check it together.”)

Make “bank contact rules” painfully clear

Every bank and fintech should publish—and repeat—three non-negotiables:
