  • call center contacts within 24 hours of payment

2) Stand up real-time scoring with tight latency

A2A needs scoring that fits within product performance budgets. Aim for:

  • single-digit milliseconds model evaluation where possible
  • graceful degradation if third-party signals fail
  • shadow mode first (score without action) to calibrate

3) Create a small set of measurable interventions

Don’t launch 15 controls. Launch 3 that you can measure:

  • contextual warnings
  • step-up for risky first-time payees
  • short cooling-off delays for high-risk transfers

4) Build a feedback loop from confirmed outcomes
